Last financial year we invested more than $34 million in our cultural life. This includes producing free major public events like Sydney New Years’ Eve and Art & About Sydney, sponsoring major festivals like Sydney Festival and the Biennale of Sydney, commissioning new public art works and providing practical support and funding for our creative communities.

Creative City Sydney is a new website specifically designed to make sure you can easily find information on our cultural initiatives and programs, year-round opportunities for artists and creative teams and a rich calendar of events and happenings throughout the year.
