We have nine library branches in and around the city area. Everyone is invited to sort through our collection of close to 500,000 books, CDs, DVDs. You can also use our free public Wi-Fi and become a member and get access to a computer. New fiction and non-fiction titles are added to the collection every week.

We also offer an e-Library service, which is a database of several newspapers and magazines (and we offer computer and internet training courses you can complete at home, if you’re unsure). You can also take advantage of our collections in different foreign languages, a home library service and a mobile app which allows you to search and reserve items from your smartphone.

There’s also an exciting range of events, talks and workshops on offer. There are readers’ groups, short film screenings, clothing swaps and workshops on all sorts of topics (from computer application courses to knitting and sketching classes).

Find your local branch, check the What’s On calendar to find an event near you, or keep up to date by subscribing to the newsletter. You can also find more info here.
