The City provides support in the form of up to 100% waiver of hire for a range of major and community venues, including Sydney Town Hall, Customs House and a range of smaller community venues throughout the inner city area.

How to apply

Applications for this program are open all year round. To make an application, we ask that you contact the venue booking team to make a tentative booking. Once you have suitable dates and the locations, request a reduced rate form from the venues team, complete a brief application form and email it back to .

All applications are assessed against the general and specific criteria for this program, which are set out in the City’s grants and sponsorships policy.
