We offer our street banner poles at reduced rates – or sometimes free of charge – to charity, non-profit cultural and community organisations, events and activities. The reduction of the fee depends on the level of benefit to the wider interests of the City.
How to apply
Applications for this program are open all year round. To make an application we ask that you contact the banner booking team to make a tentative booking. Once you have suitable dates and the locations, request a reduced rate form from the banners team and complete a brief application form and email it to [email protected].
Applications usually take from 4-5 weeks to process. Please note, the grant is a waiver of the pole hire only and applicants are responsible for the costs of installation, dismantling and the banner production.
All applications are assessed against the general and specific criteria for this program, which are set out in the City’s grants and sponsorships policy.
