If you have an idea for a project that could benefit from a cash injection, now is the time to apply for one of our cultural and creative grants and sponsorships. We are looking for initiatives that provide opportunities for people to get involved creatively, enhance the visibility of art and culture in our urban landscape and strengthen the city’s cultural and creative industries. Previous recipients include the likes of 107 Projects, The Other Art Fair, and First Draft.
Funding is available in amounts between $5,000 and $50,000. We have lots of resources available to help with your application, including guidelines, and sample budget and project outcomes. These will also help you prepare an application that best meets our strategic priorities and has the biggest chance of success. To maximise your chances, our grants team recommends that you ensure you thoroughly read the guidelines and speak to one of the staff about your initiative prior to applying. If you are a first time applicant, consider the matching grants program, which offers up to $10,000 in funding matched by the applicant in other funding and/or volunteer time.
To ask questions in person, don’t miss our drop-in session on 23 February – or if you can’t make it, speak to our grants team about your project by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Find out more and apply before 5pm on 7 March.
